Hello and welcome!

Unfortunately, funding for our sole worker has come to an end. But activities continue…

Since November 2009 we delivered a range of activities to engage our communities, build confidence and skills and promote health and well-being.

Some of the projects we helped to establish will continue, and details are shown below. For info on completed work, click on the past projects tab above.

Gardening. St Phils gardening project will start up again in spring. The staff there are keen for people to get involved in creating a growing resource for the community, and sharing knowledge about how to grow healthy food. Contact Allie at the church for more info.

Watercolour Painting meet at 12.30 – 2.30 on Wednesdays at St Phil’s Church. A relaxing social activity, with a warm welcome and support from our group of painters. £1 per session. Equipment provided (including tea and biscuits!).

Photography 1 – 3pm at Chapel Street and Hope United Reformed Church. Get out and about and improve your photography and I.T. skills! Participants share advice about taking and sharing better photos and exhibit work occasionally. Where possible, we go out for a leisurely stroll around places of interest in Salford. £1 per session.

Here’s a short video featuring some of the projects delivered and people who helped to make them special.
