Now I know I only seem to be able to manage an update every other month, but it’s not for lack of things to report. This one mainly involves our recent customer survey, including info about some of the activities we have planned in response to the feedback we recieved, and news of the lucky winner of our prize draw (or should I say the lack of news…?), please read on.
We surveyed over 100 people, and got some useful info about the kinds of activities that people would be interested in attending. As a result, we have arranged for a range of creative activities to take place on Wednesday afternoons at St Phils Church, guitar tuition sessions at United Reformed Church, and any number of activities to happen at St Phils school once their back in full swing after the summer break (watch this space). We also have singing sessions about to start up again from 5th Sept. See more details of planned activities and exhibitions on the documents below;
Another great outcome has been that conversations that took place while doing the survey look like they could result in some exciting projects on the Islington Estate with some of the residents there. I hope to post more details about that work soon.
So about our prize draw. The people who filled the survey in, ticked the box and added contact details (most people did) were entered into our prize draw to win one £20 Sainbury’s voucher. We put all the contact details people gave us into a hat and drew out 3 of them (just to be sure) as follows;
1. A landline number that no longer works with an address with a brand new tenant who moved in after we did the survey
2. A mobile number that is switched off every time I try to call, and
3. An email address that I had to guess at the spelling but I’ll have to try soon if I cant get in touch with 2.
None of the entries drawn had any names on either. Of course I’ll persevere but nothings ever easy is it? I mean honestly, we cant even give these Sainsbury’s vouchers away.
