Free – Computer classes for beginners.

I know the internet might seem an odd place to promote beginners computer classes, but maybe someone you know might like to go? The course has covered basics so far, and this is the last week you can join before the content gets beyond beginners. So get in there! Or rather, tell someone else to get in there!

Free Computer Classes – Suitable for beginners to intermediate level, covering basic skills, using the internet, excel/spreadsheets, Access/database, and PowerPoint/presentation graphics. At St Phil’s School Community Room, Tuesdays 1.45 – 3.45pm, from 10th Jan 2012 for ten weeks. Creche provided. Call Jackie Brandreth on 0161 921 1857 to book your place on the course.

CSCA Winter activities – with added Vikings.

Happy New Year!

We’ve got lots of stuff happening in the next few weeks and months; guitar lessons and IT classes on the Islington Estate, arts workshops and viking combat training at Sacred Trinity, painting and photography at St Phils and pottery and IT drop ins at the URC. We’re also excited to be hosting an exhibition in partnership with Salford Museum and Art Gallery of work by local artist Kate Herberts, and an installation by Antonia Low, as part of the Seven Sites project happening across Manchester and Salford.
